floris

Floris es una casa de perfumería con sede en Londres que ha estado en funcionamiento desde 1730 y continúa dirigida por descendientes de los fundadores. Fundada originalmente por Juan Famenius Floris y su esposa, Elizabeth, Floris vendía productos de aseo y afeitado, así como perfumes desde su ubicación en 89 Jermyn Street. Recibieron una autorización real en 1820 como "fabricante de peines de punta lisa" del rey Jorge IV. La realeza, figuras históricas y celebridades han sido durante mucho tiempo clientes de Floris, entre cuya clientela famosa se incluyen Florence Nightengale, Winston Churchill, el explorador Sir Ranulph Fiennes y la actriz Marilyn Monroe.
